PETA’s terrible track record

Two sites to ponder… the first is the initial site I visited, the second is the linked site for statistics.

It took me a bit to figure out the figures… so I’ll try to explain it real quick so the 97% euthanized makes sense.

If you look at the second link (pdf of PETA reports) you’ll note on the 3rd page that they received a total of 3,918 dogs… of those 3,918 dogs… 3,191 were brought in by their owners to be spayed/neutered (noted under Others)… not abandoned.  So, PETA had a total of 727 dogs that were there to be adopted out… of the 727 dogs to be adopted, they euthanized 681 (page 4).
