How many people can honestly tell me that they didn’t see this coming? If so, I have a bridge for sale…

“If U.S. health reform efforts lead to higher costs for employers, employees may end up bearing the brunt, according to a new survey.

Employers will not absorb higher costs, choosing instead either to reduce benefits, lower salaries or cut jobs, the survey from professional services firm Towers Perrin said on Thursday.”

This also shows that the private sector could never compete with a government run program, companies would just end their programs and force employees to join the government-run socialized program… a stinking sinking socialized program that will drive up taxes and/or go broke in the not so distant future… in my humble opinion.

  1. Well, of course. That’s exactly what the idea behind it all is. Kill the private sector, force everyone onto public programs, then keep pumping the people for money through the “need to save these programs” line. You’d never hear anyone admit to that though…
